Director of Engineering (m/f/d)

 

Duties & Responsibilities include:


* Leading the engineering team and all aspects of the department


* Preparing the annual budget and financial planning for the department


* Setting performance and development targets for your colleagues and actively promoting them


* Planning preventive maintenance and servicing requirements for all of the property's technical systems, recognising and processing them


* Monitor energy consumption and plan and implement energy-saving measures


* Ensuring fulfilment of all official requirements in the technical and building law area


* Compliance with the specified standards of the InterContinental Hotels Group


* Coordination of external partners when carrying out technical inspections and maintenance work


* Business Partner as a member of the Executive Committee

 

Qualifications and Requirements:


* Several years of professional experience in the area of responsibility, ideally in the hotel industry


* Very good communication, presentation and negotiation skills in both German and English


* Ability to prioritize tasks and priorities


* Leadership experience and hands-on mentality


* Very good German and English skills
