National Smart Buildings Lead_SRS Buildings Unit

Description The National Smart Buildings Lead will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of large-scale technical projects and implement advanced technologies.

This role requires a strategic leader with deep expertise in project management, data governance, automation system development, and energy conservation.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering ROI-driven business value and value-added solutions to clients in both private and public sectors.

Essential Duties


* Lead and manage large-scale technical projects from inception to completion.


* Develop and implement cutting-edge technologies across intelligent building and smart real estate industries.


* Oversee data governance and automation system development.


* Align stakeholders and select independent technologies to meet project goals.


* Deliver presentations and educate staff on project management and technical solutions.


* Track and manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables.


* Provide expert advice on building resilience and sustainability, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, power generation, and building energy analysis.


* Develop and implement energy conservation measures (ECMs) and advanced metering solutions.


* Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.


* Identify key clients and opportunities to drive intelligent buildings practice growth.


* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions that exceed their expectations.

Supervisory Responsibilities Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include recruiting, training, and developing employees; planning, assigning, and directing work.

Experience 15 years related experience in the consulting engineering industry with a focus on buildings (Architecture, structural, MEP and/or fire protection thought leadership roles.

Education Bachelor's degree in architecture, Mechanical/Electrical/Structural/Fire Protection/Civil Engineering (or related field).

Masters' degree a plus.

Qualifications, Skills and Abilities


* Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.


* Extensive project management experience in large complex smart buildings implementations.


* Certified in at least three major control system manufacture platforms.


* Extensive experience in intelligent building and smart real estate industries.


* Proven track record in project management, data governance, and automation system development.


* Strong leadership and stakeholder alignment skills.


* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
