Datacenter Cooling Innovation expert

Mission

This role reports to the director for innovation and strategy and operates in a global team, which is responsible for understanding technology, partecipating to prototypization, and market trends, introducing new technologies, driving the long-term strategy and leading all influencing efforts with strategic customers and consulting engineers

This role is involve in all the activities above with a specific focus in both the development and the improvement of the cooperation with our strategic global customers, as Cloud and service providers, CoLocators and mechanical consultant, acting as cooling trusted advisor both on current and next design development

The active cooperation with the team manager in developing the mid and long term strategy for cooling, completes the role.

What will you do?


* Contributes to technical excellence.

Influences the technical direction on Integration of Technologies across a R&D center in anticipation or offer creation or influences bricks, platforms or methods of multiple LoBs when in a central function.

Has an impact on business, offers and technologies.


* Is a renowned professional within a Line of Business.


* Masters a strategic technology domain (Multi Technologies), develops and deploys related innovation and expertise to offers (research, platforming, standardization, trends, partnership, intellectual property, reference documents).


* Holds a deep knowledge of Customer processes and of our offers, to support technical interactions with end-customers and solving of offer issues.


* Provides paper, blog or conference to contribute to the promotion of =S= strategy.

Contributes to international technical organizations.


* Contributes to an international and multi-organization technical community and beyond a cross-functions (marketing, sales...) network.


* Contributes actively to knowledge and know-how development and sharing.

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?


* Bachelor o Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical engineering or electronic engineering


* Not less than 8-10 years of experience in the cooling sector with a specific focus on datacenters applications, including plants and systems


* Expertise on liquid cooling applications is a preferred requirement
