Field Service Manager

seeks a Field Service Manager in Salisbury, NC.

Job Description: Lead front-line Service Delivery Team personnel.

Oversee the development and implementation of innovative solutions, as well as results for Services business (BAS and Mechanical) in the marketplace.

Develop strategy with local Senior Leadership Team, Operations Team, and Sales Team to capture and retain market share.

Execute plans and strategies.

Develop and maintain a diverse team of Service Professionals - Technicians, Field Service Supervisors to ensure delivery of the highest value to customers.

Cultivate strong customer relationships through direct involvement and account management support.

Develop solutions for accounts served.

Network internally and externally.

Forecast revenue and profitability as needed for business planning.

Budget operational costs for department.

Report on historical revenue data and trends.

Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 5 years of experience.

In the alternative, the employer will also accept 10 years of total experience with no Bachelor's degree.

Further, the position requires that the experience be in service delivery and customer experience in the HVAC or Building Automation industry or related occupation, with at least some experience in the following skills: Applying HVAC/R principals as it relates to (1) equipment operation, (2) different types of equipment ranging from small DX mini split zone equipment to larger water-cooled chillers, and (3) system functionality to properly condition a space with comfort and efficiency; Designing BAS systems to provide smart building control solutions, including front-end interface to the field controllers on install equipment to guide energy sustaining conversations with clients; Managing teams through skills growth; Budgeting to meet topline growth and profitability goals; and Servicing building systems (BAS and Mechanical).
