As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will support the continued financial health of the organization by providing critical analyses and insights that are used for informed decision-making.

What you'll do on a typical day:


* Design, prepare, and update financial models in Excel to support financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.


* Prepare monthly reporting packages comparing actual and forecasted financials vs.

budgets and identify variance drivers.


* Work cross-functionally with business partners to ensure alignment and consistent messaging.


* Identify, measure, and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other operational and financial metrics.


* Seek continuous improvement opportunities in reports and processes to improve content and streamline production and distribution.


* Troubleshoot reporting issues and data anomalies.


* Design reports that are concise, well organized, professional in appearance, and easy to modify and distribute.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:


* Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent related work or military experience.


* 2 years of experience in audit, accounting, or FP&A.


* Proficiency in Microsoft Office including advanced Excel skills.

It'd be great if you also have:


* 4 years of related experience including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.


* Experience building or modifying dashboards in PowerBI or other BI tools.


* Ability to quickly learn and achieve proficiency in new software applications.


* Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present clean, organized, and thorough information appropriate for intended audience.


* Strong ability to develop insightful, value-added, and actionable analyses with detailed explanations regarding drivers of the results; able to produce unambiguous, comprehensive, and accurate interpretations.


* Self-motivated work style; able to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment.
