John Zink Hamworthy Combustion, a Koch Engineering Solutions company, is seeking a Quality Manager to join our team in Tulsa, OK.

This role will oversee all quality-related activities at the Tulsa site.

The successful candidate will work on strategic initiatives and ensure the effective tactical execution of quality operations.

Additionally, this individual will lead a team of professional quality personnel.

What You Will Do


* Lead and develop the team through effective performance management, team career development, fostering open communication in all directions and ensuring team is aligned with and accomplishing set goals/objectives.


* Manage the Quality Assurance and Quality Control systems of the sites.


* Maintain the ISO 9001 certification.


* Proactively share quality performance of all disciplines to appropriate leaders and teams and participate in improvement activities.


* Uncover opportunities for improvement in the quality and operations processes.


* Be deliberate in developing and sharing best practices and accelerating our knowledge processes.


* Collaborate with the other KES Americas quality leaders and globally to improve our capabilities and performance.


* Further advance safety culture, and alignment of site team with Koch safety culture and best practices.


* Provide exceptional customer service for internal and external customers.


* Act as a liaison and address customer concerns or complaints regarding quality issues


* Ownership of standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation of our product and services

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


* Experience coaching and leading professionals within a business organization.


* Proficient in effective communication, people management, and team building skills


* Quality, manufacturing, fabrication, project management, supply chain processes or engineering design experience.


* Willing and able to travel up to 25%

What Will Put You Ahead


* Bachelor's or Associate Degree in quality, business, or engineering


* Knowledge of quality tools, such as SPC, design of experiment (DOE), leading root cause analysis and corrective actions, project management experience


* Understanding and Expertise in ASME Section IX Welding procedures and qualifications


* Experience maintaining certification in ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems or equivalent.
