Records Information Management (RIM) Analyst

Under general supervision, provides records and information management analysis, evaluation, and consultation for Bank records.

Responsibilities may include assisting in the inventory, evaluation, and recommendation of proper record management practices; assisting in writing procedures and providing user training.

Key Responsibilities:


* Provides fundamental support for the RIM function.

Assignments may include tracking performance, preparing reports, and other department needs.


* Maintains RIM procedures and information system quality assurance testing methodologies, coordinates testing, analyzes results and recommends improvement opportunities.

Coordinates the maintenance of the District's data maps and retention schedule; ensures quality.


* Coordinates project efforts by scheduling and managing resources to assist in meeting project deliverables; interacts with cross functional business area teams as needed.


* Consults and works collaboratively with Senior Analysts to develop and achieve RIM objectives.

Coordinates RIM communications using various communication methods (in-person, e-mail, phone, collaborative sites, presentations, etc.)


* May assist with business line consultations: Shares meeting agendas and presentations, develops and maintains relationships with business lines, schedules and runs meetings as necessary.


* Maintains a working knowledge regarding RIM industry practices, data privacy, data governance, and/or information technology concepts.

Maintains a strong understanding of our Policies, Standards, and best practices, as applicable.


* Participates in District and System-level records and information management work groups activities as needed.

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Experience: Two to Five years preferred

• Records and Information Management (including paper, structured, and unstructured

electronic records)

• Demonstrated ability to work professionally with personnel at all levels of the organization and handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity

• General understanding of business functions and responsibilities

 Technical Skills:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Applications including SharePoint Online & Teams

Certifications/Licenses:

• Certified Records Analyst (or other records, information, or data management/governance related professional certification) preferred
