Internal Audit Clerk

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Internal Auditor to join our team! In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise in auditing concepts, practices, and procedures to conduct thorough audits of various company processes across diverse departments and locations.

Your responsibilities will include verifying reports against source documents and records, auditing work procedures and methods, and performing detailed transactional-level testing to support all Japanese Sarbanes-Oxley (JSOX) audits.

You will play a crucial role in identifying and raising non-conformities, helping to ensure our operations meet the highest standards.

Your responsibilities will include:


* Corporate Auditing: Verifying reports against source documents and records, auditing work procedures and methods to ensure accuracy and compliance.


* Process Improvement: Identifying areas for enhancement and recommending improvements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.


* JSOX Auditing: Performing detailed transactional-level testing to support all Japanese Sarbanes-Oxley (JSOX) audits and raising non-conformities as necessary.

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a business environment with a focus on auditing and accounting.

Proven track record of effectively managing time to meet deadlines.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting from an accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties of the job.

Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation preferred or a candidate in progress.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required.

Experience with audit tools such as IDEA is a plus.

Familiarity with ERP systems is preferred.

Highly detail-oriented and self-motivated with excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.

Ability to conduct interactions with professionalism.

Strong understanding of accounting, finance, internal controls, and auditing standards.

Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), and COSO is required.

Ability to stand, sit, and use fingers for extended periods.

May involve walking on level surfaces, reaching above shoulder heights and below the waist, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
