KEY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Practical knowledge and application of electronics, mechanics, vacuum theory, math, computers, and Testing.
* Knowledge of basic computer skills and software programs (i.e.
Microsoft products)
* Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and ability to learn the operational concepts of systems and how to perform diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques to solve more complex operational and system problems.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, pneumatic diagrams, flow charts and cause and effect diagrams.
* Ability to set up, operate and interpret output of test equipment to include, but not limited to oscilloscopes, digital volt-ohm meters, current and voltage sources and chart recorders.
* Ability to learn and adhere to established company and departmental policies pertaining to day-to-day operations.
* Must meet requirements for Emergency response team
* Problem Solving: Able to troubleshoot intermediate issues with little to no guidance
* Initial responder for unscheduled down tools
* Knowledge of how to read electronic schematics and mechanical blueprints.
* Understand and follow both written procedures and verbal instructions, in the preventive maintenance of wafer fab equipment.
* Individual must be self-motivated and be able to organize and manage his/her daily work as directed by management, Equipment Engineer and or senior technicians.
* Able to work both independently and in a team environment
* Organization: Able to balance planned and unplanned activities in a timely, professional manner.
* Initial responder for unscheduled down tools
