Job Title: Material Handler Full-Time & Part-Time
Are you looking for an indoor job with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule? Do you enjoy working in an organized environment without interacting with customers? We're seeking detail-oriented individuals to join our team as New Goods Material Handlers at Juanita Goodwill's New Goods Warehouse!
What You'll Do:
* Oversee inventory flow and package items for redistribution.
Must be comfortable reading, writing, and communicating with numbers.
* Work in a warehouse environment, free from the elements.
* Handle and process purchased new goods products bought in bulk.
* Accurately ship out and distribute new goods to various store locations.
* Maintain an organized and efficient workflow without interacting with donors or customers.
About the Position
The Production Associate unload donations from containers and move goods to appropriate production areas.
Pay Range: $17.13-18.13/hour DOE
Shift Availability: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
* Remove and sort through salvage material and garbage from salable goods.
* Sort donations into appropriate bins for further processing.
* Provide a smooth flow of goods to the production floor.
* Use cardboard compactors and identify problems.
* Maintain donor tallies.
* Maintain a clean work environment.
* Demonstrate safe work practices through awareness and observation in support of a safety culture; reports any potential hazards or accidents.
* Build and maintain internal and external customer satisfaction.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
* If applicable: Consistent and safe execution of duties associated with forklift operation when certified to Seattle Goodwill standards.

* Perform other duties as assigned.
