Associate Director - Business Intelligence and Analytics

SUMMARY

Subaru of America is seeking a dynamic Associate Director of Business Intelligence and Analytics to drive the strategic vision and execution of our business intelligence and analytics initiatives.

This role will develop a comprehensive roadmap to support critical decision-making processes, considering both IT trends and business needs.

The Associate Director will collaborate with various business groups and stakeholders within Subaru of America to shape the future of our Business Intelligence and Analytics framework.

RESPONSIBILITIES


* Establish a clear vision and develop a strategic roadmap for Business Intelligence and Analytics which includes a rebuild of BI in a new cloud environment.


* Develop and operationalize analytics platforms and solutions to enhance operational excellence and business agility.


* Partner closely with senior management, key business stakeholders, and IT groups to maximize the value of Business Analytics programs.


* Identify and develop key performance indicators to provide actionable performance insights.


* Support the development of data strategies and implement a robust data governance framework.


* Ensure data integrity and consistency across all systems.


* Manage vendor relationships and partnerships to enhance the Business Intelligence and Analytics platform.


* Develop and manage the budget, monitor spending, allocate resources, and adjust forecasts to meet financial targets.


* Lead, manage, and develop a cross-functional team, ensuring effective performance and growth.


* Negotiate service level agreements with service providers and monitor service delivery to meet targets and standards.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES


* Solid understanding of key Business Intelligence and Analytics trends.


* Strong experience with business intelligence and analytics concepts, platforms, and tools, including advanced capabilities like predictive analytics.


* Solid understanding of leading-edge BI, big data, and IoT technologies.


* Proven experience with Microsoft Azure Analytics is required.


* Understanding of how to define and support a data governance framework.


* Strong business acumen and ability to align BI initiatives with business objectives.


* Strong vendor management skills.


* Understanding of agile software development methodologies.


* Excellent communication and leadership skills.


* Ability to present complex topics to all depts/levels within the organization.


* Innovative and creative personality.


* Strong relationship building skills.


* Ability to facilitate and achieve cohesion among various depts, functions and external vendors.


* Agile thinker.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Hybrid Role - Remote work 2 days per week (after 90 days) [Wednesdays & Fridays]

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 5-10% Domestic
