In this role, the Software Engineering Senior Manager will be responsible for building and leading a team of highly skilled individuals focused on delivering the best solutions for our customers.

Will work collaboratively across the organization to continue to enhance Evernorth's market-winning capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in software engineering, with a focus on developing the front end of applications.

Qualifications:


* Hands on development experience using Angular and React Native


* Provide technical expertise through a hands-on approach to teams and projects developing capabilities for the various web/mobile applications.


* Contributes to software development strategy and product roadmap across various domains


* Conduct proof of concepts for software tools/technologies related to portfolio development.


* Maintain deep levels of involvement in the implementation process.


* Ultimately responsible for building and maintaining web applications and services conformant to IT standards, architectures, and technologies.


* Mentor and support junior level developers as well as assist in the evaluation of contractors and/or new hires.


* Contributes to user research, concept testing, and usability testing.


* Collaborates with scrum team/s in ensuring that coding standards and solutions are in place.
+ Participates in project/module-level design and architectural reviews where necessary.
+ Co-ordinate with team members on best practices/processes.
+ Performs code reviews.
+ Deliver the work without any fallouts

Technical Skills:


* SPA experience using Angular and React Native, Micro Front End, State Management Tool (Redux)


* Advanced skills using SOAP, UDDI, XML, WSDL, JSON


* Proficiency using infrastructure tools such as Terraform


* Knowledge of CI/CD
