Role: Senior Operations Manager

Reports to: Director of Operations

Location: DePuy Synthes, Cork, Ireland

Job purpose:

The purpose of this role is to:


* Connect - with leadership teams across the site and the various supply chain networks within Joints


* Shape - the strategic direction and measurement of the Operations function with a full end to end view of the supply chain in mind.


* Lead - the Value Stream and Business Unit teams through the different improvements and changes in line with best-in-class lean principles and practices


* Deliver - successful business KPI performance in keeping with our business priorities of EHS, Quality Service and Cost

Main duties & responsibilities:

Develop and implement the Operational strategic imperatives in-line with the Joints & Site strategic objectives.

Lead and develop Operations staff in a manner that will facilitate employee development, identifying training needs, stretch assignments and opportunities for development.

Ensure the Operations Function and Business Unit teams conform to Corporate, Franchise, Statutory, Legislative and Regulatory requirements for cGMP, HSE and Quality.
