Position Summary


* The Specialty Marketing Manager is accountable for strategy development specialty focus and products.

He or she must develop focus specialties and recommend specific marketing objectives and forecast for products sold, manage the execution of authorized marketing plans to achieve or exceed sales volume and profit margin planed, plus other marketing objectives specified by Commercial Lead.


* To accomplish this, he or she must have a complete understanding of the total products, the market, needs of the sales force, distributors and customers, the pricing structure and as well as actions of competitors.

Also important is the ability to communicate and work well with all levels of management; including, operation, customer service, Product Specialist, Area Managers, Business Unit Manager to answer questions and assure product related problems are resolved and kept to a minimum.

* Market Research and Analysis
+ Knowledge of marketplace is gathered from field sales input, the results of market research surveys, competitive information, and personal professional contacts and through individual creativity.
+ Researches, analyzes, and monitors financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize effects of competitive activity.
