Secretariat Advisors, LLC seeks Associate Director-Multiple Openings-Washington D.C.

Hybrid position-some telecommuting flexibility, but required to physically be in the Washington, D.C.

office 3x/wk.

Conduct quantitative/qualitative analysis for economic topics in litigation, regulatory proceedings, public policy debates & business consulting assignments.

Design, test, & implement complex mathematical, statistical & financial models.

Identify relevant economic issues & develop l analytical frameworks for state-of-the-art economic literature, theories & analytical tools.

Oral & written presentation of analyses & results with technical sophistication for jurors lacking any formal training in economics, math or statistics to professional economists employed by governments, businesses or universities.

Economic modeling, game-theoretic simulations, econometric techniques, statistical analyses, programming, & other advanced technical methods to model economic behavior & test hypotheses.

Advanced technical expertise to deliver sophisticated modeling & empirical analysis used by courts & regulatory agencies.

Therefore, the highest level of technical competence is required to withstand detailed scrutiny by other economists retained by opponents with financial motivation to discover fault.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for leading, managing and/or supporting client consulting engagements, & maintaining client relations.

Contribute to business & professional development activities including monitoring scholastic advances & developments in areas of expertise, writing articles for publication in trade press, academic journals & the firm's quarterly newsletter, participating in bar association committee work & programs, attending conferences, & seeking general contacts with potential clients.
