PARTS SALES COORDINATOR

Location: Janesville, WI

How You Will Make an Impact?

The Parts Sales Coordinator is responsible for telephone parts sales both inbound and outbound.

This includes providing quotes and processing orders in response to customer calls and making outbound parts sales calls to existing and prior customers.

The parts sales coordinator will have administrative responsibilities supporting OEM parts sales.

The parts sales coordinator will also work with the Buyer Planner to resolve any sourcing issues related to a parts sale.

The Nuts and Bolts

Answer inbound phone calls for parts sales and provide the caller with parts information, and parts quote.

Upsell to customers as appropriate.

Respond promptly and accurately to email parts quote requests.

Research resources to provide correct part(s) for older model bodies where original part(s) are no longer available.

Pursue additional business by outbound prospecting with existing and former customers.

Reconcile daily credit card receipts with accounts receivable team.

Assist with current open accounts receivable issues including but not limited to updating internal A/R database, contacting customers for resolution and facilitating any necessary account changes.

Complete all administration tasks involved in processing orders promptly and accurately.

Communicate with customers regarding expected delivery dates/ship dates for orders, follow-up communication, invoices, and purchase orders.

Provide customers with backordered material updates on their ship date and order status.

Evaluate with Buyer/Planner and Parts Supervisor the need for stock level adjustments to respond to changes in customer demands.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Credentials


* High school diploma or GED


* Customer service experience


* Proficiency with MS Office and JD Edwards system utilized to reference parts information


* Ability to interpret a material requirement planning system


* Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and organizational skills

You Must Be Able to

Working in an office environment in a seated position a minimum of eight hours per day is required.

Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed.

May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day.

Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday.

Proper lifting techniques required.

May include lifting up to 25 pounds for files, computer printouts on occasion.

The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas where under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection.

Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
