Brief Job Description
Join DePuy Synthes in Cork, Ireland, as an Apprentice Investment Casting Engineer and kick-start your career in orthopedic manufacturing.

This role combines hands-on learning with theoretical knowledge, providing comprehensive training in investment casting processes.

Accountabilities
• Gain proficiency in investment casting techniques and processes within the Foundry Engineering Team.
• Collaborate with engineers and metallurgists to optimize production efficiency and quality.
• Support daily operations, ensuring adherence to regulatory and quality standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying and implementing enhancements in manufacturing processes.What You're Great At:
• Interest in mechanical and analytical activities, particularly in investment casting.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to team objectives.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a methodical approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively in a team environment.

Desirable:
• Basic understanding of material science principles.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and learn independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Be Vital:
To excel in this role, attention to detail and a Leaving Cert qualification are essential.
