Technical Manager Network Project Solutions

Responsibilities:


* Provide expert technical consulting to the business, recommending network solutions that address specific requirements and solve business problems.


* Create and develop network solutions that meet J&J architectural standards, using technologies like SDN (SD-WAN), network automation, cloud solutions, 5G, WAN/LAN topologies and services and Wireless LAN (WLAN).


* Collaborate with the Global Engineering team for non-standard solution designs, ensuring robust and scalable network architectures.


* Manage the implementation and delivery of network infrastructure projects, collaborating with internal and external teams, including ordering, quoting, capacity, and vendor teams.


* Ensure seamless execution of implementation plans, working closely with vendors and resource teams to introduce services, provide documentation, and conduct operational handovers.


* Drive service improvements and represent the regional team in the development and enhancement of global networking processes and procedures.


* Supervise and manage a small team of Network Solutioning specialists, providing guidance, coordination, and support for their activities.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:


* Extensive technical knowledge and experience in networking infrastructure components, including SDN, SD-WAN, network automation, cloud solutions, 5G, WAN/LAN topologies and services, WLAN, and routing protocols and WAN technologies (VPN, BGP, EIGRP, ...).


* Knowledge and/or certification (preferred) in Cisco data networking products (e.g.

CCNP) including IOS, firewalls (FTD), Wireless, load balancing technologies and Software Defined Networking would be a plus.


* Preferably 7 - 10 years of experience in networking and delivering network infrastructure projects within an IT infrastructure environment.


* Displayed competence in converting business requirements into technical network solutions, while maintaining compliance with established standards and recommended industry approaches.


* Experience in network and infrastructure planning, development, and deployment.


* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively work with diverse teams and partners.


* Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.


* Proficient in interpersonal communication and capable of effectively interacting with individuals across different organizational levels.
