Senior Director of Business Relationship Management (BRM)

Description & Requirements

The Senior Director of Business Relationship Management (BRM) plays a critical role in bridging the gap between IT and business partners.

This position focuses on fostering productive relationships, ensuring effective communication, and driving value within the organization.

The BRM serves as a key point of contact for obtaining IT services and information, facilitating collaboration between internal IT teams and business stakeholders.

This is a remote position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establish relationships with respective Business partners by attending business meetings, conducting one on one meetings with key business constituents, attending business strategy sessions and off sites, participating in project implementations, etc.

(e.g., HHS and Federal).
- Participate in the solution review process on bid and proposal activities
- Establish processes to update internal IT teams with statuses/issues from Business partners and acts on requests for information/action, including defining an escalation process via the Service Delivery team.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with business partners across the organization and facilitates effective collaboration between IT and business teams.
- Acts as a key point of contact for operations and IT stakeholders to ensure that expectations are managed and met.
- Establish process to remain up to date on projects and active requests for reporting to Business partners by working with the PMO team.

Relationship Building:
-Establish strong relationships with business partners by attending meetings, conducting one-on-one sessions, and participating in strategic discussions.

-Act as a communication bridge between IT and the enterprise, including business partners, finance, contracts, audit, and digital teams.

-Participate in solution reviews during bid and proposal activities.

Internal Communication:

-Update internal IT teams on statuses and issues from business partners (US Services, Federal, OUS, GCC).

-Manage escalation coordination between Enterprise Technology and operations.

-Collaborate with the PMO team to stay up-to-date on projects and active requests.

-Oversee the Enterprise Technology OCM & Communications team (1-5 people) in collaboration across the CDIO organization.

-Experience with organizational change management tools, processes and communications.

Stakeholder Management:

-Serve as a key point of contact for operations and IT stakeholders.

-Manage expectations and ensure alignment between business needs and IT capabilities.

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, public administration, health services, computer science, statistics, or a related field.

Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- 5+ years of management experience; 12+ years of progressive IT-relevant experience.
