Senior Financial Analyst

Your Job

We are seeking a strategic, driven, and energetic finance professional to maximize the return on investment of new product development opportunities for our global Copper Solutions business unit, which is currently experiencing significant growth as part of the broader Artificial Intelligence ecosystem.

This role will work closely with our marketing, engineering, and plant finance teams, as well as our business unit and Molex leadership.

Focus will be to help the business optimize capital investment decisions, provide insights and actionable recommendations to maximize performance across our 120 product families, and support the overall BU commercial and financial strategy.

What You Will Do



* Work with our stakeholders on new product development capital investments, providing insights and actionable recommendations on how to maximize returns


* Utilize strong business acumen to identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and profit growth across the new product development and capital investment lifecycle


* Guide stakeholders on correct financial treatment of new product development activities; track product development spend (operating and capital expenses) to support monthly close and forecast reporting


* Support other ad hoc analysis as needed

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)



* Bachelor's degree or higher


* 4+ years of work experience

What Will Put You Ahead



* Manufacturing and/or cable/connector experience


* Plant costing, finance, commercial and capital investment experience or a degree in Finance, Economics or similar


* Proficiency in data analysis, including extracting, manipulating, and interpreting data for decision-making


* Experience using data to formulate capital investment recommendations to stakeholders


* Comfortable working with SAP, Business Warehouse, OneStream, and other Enterprise Resource Planning applications
