Phillips-Medisize, India is seeking a Senior Process Development and Automation engineer to design and develop assembly processes for medical devices, following the Phillips-Medisize Design Development Process and applicable standards such as ISO 13485 with design controls, ISO 14971 and appropriate automation technologies.

What You Will Do

Based on technical expertise, the individual creates plan for qualification of a process, testing, assembly equipment and drives the execution of the activities.

Utilizes solid understanding of theories and practices of a variety of disciplines to manage complex assembly machine technologies within boundaries of quality, time, and budget.
Productivity improvement.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)



* Design and develop the assembly process for small volume manufacturing to support clinical and exhibit batch production.


* Cooperate with Project Manager, quality engineers and related teams to build new assembly line according to product requirement by lean thinking.


* Be responsible for process documentation preparation, such as build report, flowchart, PFMEA, work instruction etc.



* Continuous process improvement, such as, yield improvement, process failure mode effect analysis, process capability analysis, manufacturing cost down.


* Prepare assembly investment budget for new products.


* Machine efficiency improvement.


* Manufacturing technology improvement.

• Follow EHS related laws, regulations and company's EHS related management regulations, timely report potential risk, and propose safety improvement suggestions;

What Will Put You Ahead

• Required: Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering;

• Preferred: Master degree in mechanical design;

• Be familiar with statistical evaluation methods; Lean experience;

• Familiar with office software (Windows, MS Office, AutoCAD );

• Six Sigma Green belt ; Proficient in MINITAB software; Familiar with 3D software;

• 8+ years work experience as a process engineer

• Good knowledge of Electrical or Mechanical design software

• Be familiar with mechanical design and assembly process

• Good capability of the analysis on production data

• Be familiar with molding, stamping , plating process

• Be familiar with mechanical design, assembly proces

• Be familiar with automatic control.
