What you'll do:


* Managing Asbestos, Lead-Based Paint, Indoor Environmental Quality, LEED, WELL, and other green building certification projects


* Perform field testing for asbestos, lead-based paint, indoor air, and/or other parameters as required by the assigned projects


* Ability to prepare technical proposal and reports


* Ability to communicate with clients and regulatory agencies to keep projects moving and on schedule


* Ability to self-manage and make decisions during all phases of a project


* Operates testing equipment and conducts testing and provides assessment of data through reporting


* Works utilizing drawings, specifications, and diagrams


* Provide support in growing the Industrial Hygiene Service Line


* Attend and lead project meetings without supervision


* Provide support, mentorship, and training to other employees in the group


* Make detailed observations and gives limited interpretation of results


* Must be aware of, and adhere to, safety practices and policies to ensure your own safety, as well as the safety of others who may be affected by your actions at work

What it takes to be successful in this role:


* Environmental Science, Geology, Civil/Environmental Engineering Degree is required


* 5+ years of related experience required


* Ability to obtain Colorado Asbestos Building Inspector Certification within first 3 months of employment required


* Preferred Certifications:
+ Colorado Lead-Based Paint Inspector Certification
+ Colorado Air Monitor Specialist Certification
+ Colorado Asbestos Designer Certification
+ NIOSH 582 Certification
+ OSHA HAZWOPER or 10-Hour General Industry courses


* Must be able to perform tasks in varying field and office conditions


* Must have Basic Math, Calculator, and Computer Skills


* Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal & written communication


* Strong technical proposal and report writing abilities


* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook


* Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record (required)
