Molex is seeking a dynamic talented product development engineer to be part of our strong Engineering Team to develop new products that we are bringing to market.
You will be a part of our Cable Assembly Application Team and collaborate with our cross functional team internationally.

What You Will Do
• Develop and implement high-speed automotive connector solutions for cable applications, considering electrical, mechanical, and environmental requirements.
• Collaborate with product management and design engineering to select appropriate connectors, cables, and components for specific automotive applications.
• Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate different connector options to optimize performance, reliability, and cost.
• Design and develop cable assemblies, considering factors such as signal integrity, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and mechanical robustness.
• Perform design validation testing, including signal integrity analysis, connector/cable performance evaluation, and environmental testing.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to ensure efficient and effective production processes for high-speed automotive connector integration.
Exposure to high-speed data communication protocols and termination to high-speed cables such as Ethernet, USB, HDMI, and LVDS
• Develop and maintain product specifications, design guidelines, and documentation related to high-speed connector application and production.
• Collaborate with suppliers to select and qualify connectors, cables, and related components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and automotive requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to high-speed connector integration, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement appropriate solutions.
