Registered Dietitian / Senior Registered Dietitian Nutritionist - Adult Endocrinology

Work Schedule :

This is a full time, 100% FTE position.

Scheduled shifts will be 8:30 am - 5:00 pm with a weekend rotation and occasional evenings.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Registered Dietitian / Senior Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to:


* Acquire and interpret blood sugar data from continuous glucose monitors, insulin pumps and meters and make recommendations such as dietary, pump, medications and lifestyle.


* Optimize diet for diabetes management, reduction in insulin resistance, PCOS, Osteoporosis, weight management


* Provide instruction and precept dietetic interns through UW didactic program in ambulatory setting


* Participate in collaborative care team environment within


* Provide nutrition counseling grounded in motivational interviewing

Education :

Minimum - Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or related field

Preferred - Master's Degree in Nutrition or related field

Work Experience :

Minimum - One (1) year of clinical and nutrition related experience

Preferred - Two (2) years of clinical and nutrition related experience

Licenses and Certifications :

Minimum -


* Registered Dietitian Nutritionist as delineated by the Commission on Dietetic Registration


* Certification/Licensure as required by the State of Wisconsin

Preferred -


* Registered Dietitian Nutritionist as delineated by the Commission on Dietetic Registration


* Certified Dietitian in the State of Wisconsin


* Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) or Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) or Board Certified-Advanced Diabetes Management (BC-ADM)
