NHC HealthCare Mauldin is hiring a full time Director of Activities to join the healthcare team.

The qualified applicant for this position should be a self motivated professional able to work with elderly patients with creativity and enthusiasm.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


* Assess each individual patient to determine activity interests and needs.


* Provide therapeutic activities which meet the individual interests and needs of each patient.


* Provide activities which meet the physical, social, mental, emotional, and/or spiritual needs of patients while providing an atmosphere of fun and enjoyment.


* Maintain all required records (see Recreation Manual).


* Coordinate and maintain an active volunteer program.


* Maintain good public relations with the community by contacting and informing local clubs, businesses, schools, etc.

* Order and maintain supplies for use in the Activity Program


* other duties as directed by the Administrator
