Intelligence Data Analyst (Remote)

The Intelligence Data Analyst, assigned to one of Pinkerton's largest global clients, will support the Global Security Team by optimizing intelligence tools and processes, building predictive models, producing meaningful analytics, and creating geospatial products.

The Analyst assists with the development and execution of modeling and technology utilization which supports the dissemination, documentation, and reporting of intelligence across the organization.

This position can be remote within the London, United Kingdom area.

Essential Functions:

1.

Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
2.

Create robust trigger frameworks with quantitative and weighted analysis to make predicative models to anticipate spillover of conflict, stability of countries, and election violence/unrest.
3.

Develop data analytics capabilities in threat triage of social media to anticipate topics/regions of highest concern.
4.

Assist the EMEA Intelligence team, as needed, with writing intelligence products while incorporating data analytics.
5.

Provide regular reports on the client's brand image and physical security implications with particular attention to nuances between regions, sentiment on regional leadership teams and country offices, coverage and trends in social media and mainstream press.
6.

Build stability indicators models that feed directly into the planning and budgeting for strategic relocation planning to better predict locations and sites where there is a higher risk of impact.
7.

Build robust process/formula for weighting security events data.
8.

Assist with maintaining the datasets needed for the intelligence AI tool.
9.

Evaluate datasets with site-specific threats to be more predictive about sites facing the highest risk of impact.
10.

Build models with geospatial capabilities allowing to predict violence and proximity to assets.
11.

Develop quantitative and qualitative insights that draw on corporate intelligence including the volume of travel, locations, duration, the profile of travelers, and attendant risks.
12.

Provide country dossiers on special topics like volume of travel.
13.

Extract insights from intelligence products, operations notifications, and other incident datasets.
14.

Develop and maintain the country stability dashboard for all countries.
15.

Monitor quarterly security indicators in cities with presence to establish risk parameters and issue early warnings on crime trends.
16.

All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in data science or related field with five years of data mining, metrics-based analytics and data science experience.
