HEAD OF CLOUD OFFERING

Overview:

As a Head Cloud Offering, you will be responsible for providing technical support throughout the sales process, working with the sales and presales team and customers to identify the best cloud solutions for their business needs. 
This position requires a solid understanding of cloud services and associated technologies, as well as excellent communication and customer relationship skills.  You will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architectures. Your expertise in cloud technologies and best practices will drive innovation and optimize performance to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:


* Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements and technical constraints.


* Collaborate with the sales and pre-sales teams to understand customer needs and propose appropriate cloud solutions.


* Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations of cloud solutions to customers, highlighting key benefits and features.


* Work with clients to develop customized technical proposals that meet their specific needs.


* Prepare technical documentation, such as requirements analysis documents and architecture diagrams, to support sales proposals.


* Provide technical advice throughout the sales cycle, answering customer questions and addressing any objections.


* Collaborate with development team and technology partners to identify innovative solutions and continually improve product offerings.


* Ensure security, compliance, and governance requirements are integrated into cloud architectures.


* Optimize cloud environments for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.


* Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering teams on cloud architecture principles and best practices.


* Conduct technical workshops, training sessions, and knowledge sharing activities.


* Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies, trends, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:


* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.


* Proven experience as a Cloud Solution Architect or similar role.


* In-depth knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and services.


* Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies, containers, orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and serverless computing.


* Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance requirements in cloud environments.


* Excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication and presentation skills, ability to troubleshoot complex issues, and to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
