Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications, Chubb Overseas General

Chubb Overseas General (COG), Chubb's international business outside of North America, has grown exponentially and continues on an upward trajectory serving a broad array of B2B, B2C and B2B2C clients and customers around the world.

The business, encompassing three major regions, is primed to take on new challenges and set new records and is looking for a stellar marketing communications professional to help support this fast-paced growth and shape the future of Chubb's brand and positioning.

The Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications is an inquisitive MarComms expert with exceptional project management, organizing, writing, editing and research skills, and is an agile multi-tasker who can work seamlessly across many internal constituents, external parties, and time zones.

They are able to switch gears quickly to support Chubb's efforts to engage with key clients and customers in various marketplaces, working on events, internal communications priorities, announcements and local partnerships - to name a few areas - with ease and proficiency.

While project management will be the cornerstone of the new role - especially in the startup stage - the successful candidate will have a nose for journalism, and a newsroom DNA to make sure storytelling is fresh, timely and high impact.

The person must also understand cultural nuances around project coordination, writing, editing, and video production, and have hands-on experience with various content formats.

Writing, digital/social media, and video samples would be a plus if available.

The Senior Manager, MarComms will collaborate with Chubb's global MarComms leaders and their respective teams across the regions and businesses to ensure consistency in strategic priorities, communications messaging, practices, and methods.

They will show proven experience in developing and delivering impactful campaigns and events; and bring new creativity, ideas and experience to serving COG.

Ideally, the candidate will come to Chubb with an understanding of financial services/insurance business subject matter, and how to apply data and analytics to showcase their MarComms impact and results in easy-to-digest, timely updates to COG's senior leaders.

They will work closely with the MarComms Centers of Excellence to produce various materials.

This role operates on a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote) in New York City at our new NY headquarters (550 Madison Avenue).

It will report directly to the VP, Global Marketing and Communications.
