Dietary Aide

Shift: 12:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Napa Valley Care Center is seeking Dietary Aide to work full-time.

The Dietary Aide/Dishwasher is to assist the Cook in the preparation and service of meals.


* Prepare hot and cold foods and beverages for residents' meals as assigned by the Cook or Dietary Supervisor.


* Follow recipes and posted menus for regular, modified, and therapeutic diets.


* Read tray card and serve the correct amount and type of food.


* Help clean kitchen.


* Follow instructions and assignments given by Dietary Supervisors.


* Dishwashing


* Assisting residents and staff at the window,


* Preparing coffee carts


* Cleaning the kitchen at the end of the day

Experience:


* Dietary Department: 1 year (Preferred)


* Food Service: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: In person

Work Experience: Experience working in kitchen of communities or institutions that provide meals to large groups of people on a daily basis is preferred..

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
