Client Account Associate-Commercial Lending

As a Client Account Associate in Commercial Lending, you will initiate new internal requests for client onboarding, maintaining, updating and keeping client data current.

You will interact with downstream support teams and occasionally external parties, while adhering to the governance structure.

Job Responsibilities


* Respond to client/lender escalations according to service level agreements while adhering to policy guidelines and controls


* Communicate with other departments within the bank (front office, middle office back office) as well as external contacts (Borrowers, other Banks, Trustees, etc)


* Update information and ensure the accuracy of customer data for regulatory reporting, including metrics reports


* Work with technology for system enhancements to consolidate customer data and business initiatives while participating in system testing, as needed, which may occur during non-business hours


* Manage and coordinate off-shore and state-side team members


* Add or update system records as required to reflect legal documentation or customer requests


* Monitor and escalate issues as needed

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills


* 2+ years of experience reading and interpreting loan documentation


* Strong analytical, problem solving and proven decision-making skills


* Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize


* Ability to work independently within a team environment


* Excellent oral and written communications skills and strong interpersonal/client servicing skills


* Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (i.e.

Excel, Word and PowerPoint)


* Some overtime required

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills


* Bachelor's Degree


* Experience working with credit products such as revolving lines of credit, term loans, commercial cards, letters of credit


* Experience with leadership, providing technical guidance, direction on team initiatives, and performance management.


* Experience with loan accounting systems, such as LoanIQ


* Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel

This hybrid role requires going into the office three days a week with two days' flexibility to work from home, subject to change
