Maintenance Internship Projects

Safety Improvements and Risk Assessment Reduction. 


* Perform Ergonomic Assessments using RULA and REBA Analysis. 


* Propose and simulate solutions using 3D modeling software. 


* Coordinate the execution of proposed actions. 


* Measure the improvements made using Risk Assessments tools. 


* Project: Safe enclosure and Interlocks for Swage Press Process.

Cost Savings Project.  


* Perform process mapping and industrial studies. 


* Estimate financial savings and Return of Investment (ROI) in proposed solutions.


* Simulate solutions, improve process through mechanical design and automation. 


* Execute and supervise solutions.


* Project: Filter Press Addition to Elementary Neutralization Station.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:


* Currently pursuing a bachelor's in mechanical engineering. 


* Working knowledge of Solid Works and 3D modeling.


* Experience in Office 360 tools (Excel, Power Point).


* Must be able to work in the plant.


* Experience working with PlCs and automation concepts is a plus.

Other
