RESTAURANT/DISHWASHER

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for glassware, tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment using machine and manual cleaning methods.

Minimum
- Ability to work in a hot, wet, and loud environment for long periods of time
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to communicate professionally with team and guests
- Ability to lift heavy dishes, pots and pans (up to 50 pounds)
- Ability to work in a standing position for an entire shift

Desired
- 6 months dishwasher experience in a high volume kitchen- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, utensils, pots and pans and stock cleaned items in appropriate locations
- Check in deliveries and store product according to proper procedures
- Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen
- Clean and sanitize service area and kitchen throughout shift
- Sweep and mop kitchen and line floors
- Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies
- Maintain work area by cleaning up spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry
- Conduct general restaurant and restroom cleaning
- Safely operate and maintain dishwasher; report needed equipment maintenance to supervisor
- Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss
- Assist with prep work and chef tasks
- Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, managers and guests
- Coordinate with and assist fellow associates in meeting guests needs and supporting the operation of the restaurant
- Attend scheduled associate meetings and offer suggestions for improvement
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
