Clinical Pharmacist - Nuclear
Work Schedule :
100% FTE, day shift.
Typically Monday - Friday between the hours of 6:30 am - 5:00 pm.
You will rotate work location between Eastpark Medical Center and UW Hospital in Madison, WI.

Join our team of respected experts in medication therapy management.
We are seeking a Clinical Nuclear Pharmacist to:
* Participate with a team of Nuclear Pharmacists and Nuclear Pharmacy technicians
* Supervise and participate in the the procurement, preparation, and dispensing of radiopharmaceuticals for both clinical and research studies.
* Ensure release criteria of radiopharmaceuticals are met before release to patients.
* Ensure appropriateness and accuracy of prescribed radiopharmaceuticals for nuclear medicine patients
* Review patient charts for medication interactions
* Review patient laboratory values for therapy administrations
* Ensure the safe use of radiopharmaceuticals by staff and patient.
* Interact with Nuclear Medicine Physicians and Nuclear Medicine Technologists.
* Participate in multidisciplinary clinic patient reviews for clinical and research therapeutic studies
* Participate with educational activities with professional students

Education :
Minimum - Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a PharmD degree
Preferred - Pharmacy degree with Nuclear Pharmacy education or training
Work Experience :
Minimum -One year of clinical patient care and orders management experience
Preferred - Authorized Nuclear Pharmacist on an active Radioactive Materials license
Licenses and Certifications :
Minimum - Licensed to practice pharmacy in the State of Wisconsin or able to obtain within 90 days of hire date.
Preferred -Board Certified in Nuclear Pharmacy through the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties, or willing to obtain within 2 years of start of employment.
