Diagnostic Rescheduler - Veterans Evaluation Services

Description & Requirements

Maximus is currently hiring for Diagnostic Reschedulers to join our Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team in Houston, TX.

The Diagnostic Rescheduler is responsible for processing all rescheduled VES exams and objectively assign the reason for the reschedule for internal and VA customer tracking purposes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Process all reschedules within OMS to completion each working day; - Notify all veterans and/or providers regarding reschedules; - Provide daily reports to Mandy Wells and Compliance all weather related reschedules to facilitate restart of postdate; - Notify veterans if providers call to reschedule; - Communicate with Call Center, Cappers, Veteran Liaisons, Diagnostics, and PRC Departments when needed; - Cross- train in other areas when employees are not in the office.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities: - Occasionally attend meetings; - Assist other schedulers if volume increases beyond staffing capacity; - Promptly address emails and voicemails on a daily basis; - Must abide by HIPAA regulations by maintaining confidentiality of records and personal information; - Answer calls directed at the scheduling department and assist the caller, or direct the calls when necessary; - Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: - Intermediate knowledge of pertinent medical terminology; - Advanced verbal and interpersonal skills; - Advanced written communication skills, to include excellent grammar; - Advanced reading and comprehension abilities; - Advanced analytical skills and detail- oriented; - Advanced multi- tasking skills; - Advanced organizational and prioritization skills, with strong ability to meet strict deadlines; - Proficient typing skills; and - Proficient with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, general internet research, and beginner knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: - High School diploma or GED required; - Some College preferred.

- Ability to work a shift of 8:00am-5:00pm CT Monday-Friday required

- Ability to work onsite in the Houston, TX office required
