Scrum Master with DevOps and JIRA - eviCore - Hybrid

We are seeking to enhance our Agile methodology to achieve better results.

Do you have experience in implementing Agile principles-based approach in software and product development? The Scrum Master will work closely with engineering teams to establish an efficient development process that minimizes waste and prioritizes collaboration, transparency, and accountability.

Together with the Agile coach, you will exemplify Agile principles and promote the adoption of Agile thinking and practices throughout the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


* Coach team members to apply Agile values and principles in their decision-making.


* Facilitate all Agile ceremonies for teams at earlier stages of maturity; exercise judgment with more mature teams so as not to compromise the team's level of self- organization.


* Help teams establish and adhere to working agreements governing both technical and interpersonal domains.


* Establish an expectation of follow-through on continuous improvement commitments.


* Partner with product managers on roadmap planning, prioritization, and iteration goal setting, with a strong emphasis on the user story as the foundational organizing mechanism for value delivery


* Remove impediments teams cannot remove themselves and escalate issues as needed.


* Ensure organizational/structural impediments are made transparent to decision-makers.


* Assist the Agile coach in building out the Agile community of practice with resources to serve the broader organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:


* High school diploma: bachelor's degree preferred.


* At least, 1-3 years' experience as a scrum master in a complex, fast-paced technology setting role


* Deep knowledge of agile values and principles


* Experience with Scrum and Kanban development frameworks


* Thorough knowledge and use of agile project management tools, (i.e., Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.)


* Experience in written and verbal communication.


* Experience collaborating with peers at all levels in a challenging but supportive environment.


* Experience identifying gaps as well as areas of improvement and providing recommendations.


* Experience with adapting and pivoting quickly to changing priorities.
