Drafting and Document Specialist

If you are an experienced Drafting professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an opening for you! Based in our EAST WENATCHEE, WA location, you will provide support to engineering and production by providing drafting expertise and support in our Design Engineering Department.

 You will also assist with our document management and Engineering Change Management (ECM) process.

 Our customized units measure pressure and temperature in a host of applications from oil wells to satellites.  Join our growing team!
 

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:



* Build and draft CAD models and drawings from engineering designs.


* Exercise considerable independent judgement and discretion in handling drafting projects and processes.


* Work with engineering design files.


* Lead, revise, and prioritize drawings and related documents within SharePoint and related electronic drives per regulations related to CUI and ITAR products using the ECM process.


* Run the ECM site in SharePoint.


* Handle the controlled copies and hard copies of drawings and documents for design engineering and the production floor. 


* Work extensively with internal customers and external customers.


* Performs a variety of support duties to accurately generate, control, and distribute drawings and documents.

For This Role, You Will Need:


* Associate degree 


* Two plus (2+) years related experience


* Experience with CAD/SolidWorks


* Ability to read, write, speak English to follow written instructions and drawings


* Must be a U.S.

Person per ITAR Regulations
 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:


* Experience in a manufacturing environment.


* Five (5) years or more of experience.


* SharePoint experience.


* SolidWorks PDM experience.
