Health, Safety, & Environmental Engineer

Position Summary

Neptune Technology Group has an immediate opening for a Health, Safety and Environmental Engineer.  This is an excellent opportunity for an entry level candidate who wants to interact with a team of seasoned experts who lead the industry in developing the next generation of metering products.

The successful candidate will be expected to gain a working knowledge of Neptune products and processes and work as part of an Operational department to manage all aspects of a health, safety and environmental compliance effort.

The ideal candidate will have 0 to 5 years of work experience in an industrial environment and a BS in Industrial / Systems Engineering. 

Objectives
1.

Facilitate various Health, Safety, and Environmental teams (Ergonomics, Safety Committees, or other HSE compliance specific).
2.

Assist with specific HSE regulatory compliance programs, including program development, training, documentation, and auditing.
3.

Provide support to all areas for HSE related projects and manufacturing process modifications.
4.

Assist in health and industrial hygiene compliance activities.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in engineering curriculum (Mechanical or Industrial & Systems Engineering preferred); health and safety coursework preferred

Experience: 0 to 5 years

Location: Tallassee, AL
