Delivery Driver - Odessa

The Reynolds Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of McNaughton-McKay Electric Company, is a full-line wholesale electrical distributor specialized to serve the commercial and industrial electrical industry.

The Reynolds Company has multiple locations across Texas and Louisiana.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•Accurately receive product

•Ensure product is available for fulfillment of orders

•Fill orders in a timely and accurate manner

•Carefully package product for shipment

•Ensure product is destined for correct location

•Maintain aisles and product organized and clean

•Properly maintain delivery truck

•Deliver all material correctly and safely with a positive attitude

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

•Ability to receive and ship product accurately

•Capable of operating a forklift (sit-down and order selector)

•Ability to work with various types of equipment

•Knowledge of basic math

•High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)

•Current Driver’s License and good driving record.  CDL preferred but not required.

•Ability to operate various warehouse equipment such as forklift, cherry picker, pallet jack, pallet wrap machine, wire cutter, etc.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and arms to finger, handle, feel, or carry; reach with hands and arms.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance or stoop; kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The employee is regularly required to lift up to 10 lbs.

and up to 25 lbs.

The employee is frequently required to lift up to 50 lbs.

The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 100 lbs.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear; read and identify numbers for accurate order filling and receiving of material.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT

Requirements for this position are in a warehouse environment with temperature dependent on season.
