General Description
Under the supervision of the Production Manager or Area Supervisor, performs all the functions of the Line Personnel as instructed by the Production Manager or Area Supervisor; or when either of them is not present gives directions to production personnel in order to maintain the safe and efficient operation of the production lines.
Responsible for quality work.

Ensure proper reliability reporting.

Identify product quality problems and initiate corrective action.

Coordinate changeover process and verify all components staged on line.

Maintain cleaning supply inventory for designated area; Assist line crew with cleaning.
8.
Provide assistance running through breaks and lunches.
9.
De-stage line when changing over.
10.
Notify supervisor of any problems that might or do result in “Hold” material.
11.
Identify, analyze, and correct production rate barriers.
12.
Spotting defects and inconsistencies in groups of items
13.
Follow Safety/GMP guidelines.
14.
Ensure quality checks and sheets are completed.
15.
Verify can, carton/can code for batch record as applicable.
16.
Complete or assist in the completion of control charts for fill weights, concentrate and perfume for batch records.
17.
Handle batch change paperwork while still running the line.

Does not have authority to hire, fire, or issue disciplines.
20.
Ensure all metric documentation and reporting (written or electronic) is completed accurately in a timely manner.

Attend daily GEMBA walks and ensure GEMBA updates are added to board and reported out in a timely manner.

Demonstrated experience in electrical and/or electronic and mechanical maintenance including motors, controls, power supplies, AC/DC theory, power distribution, PLC's, hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication, and power transmissions.
Demonstrated ability to follow all established safe work procedures including, but not limited to personal protection equipment, safety lockout/tag-out, confined space, and elevated work areas.
Responsibilities
* Set up CNC lathes and mills for new operations.
* Ensures operation of CNC machines and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on machining lathes and mills, motors, pneumatic tools, and production equipment; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
* Mechanic skills include, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
* Locates root cause of problems by using sound troubleshooting methods to ensure that permanent repairs can be made to minimize costly downtime.
* Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair all types of machine control components including, but not limited to; motor drives, controllers, sensors, switches, breakers, overloads, power supplies, etc.
* Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair all types of power transmission components including, but not limited to; drives, bearings, gears, belts, chains, sprockets, etc.
* Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems including, but not limited to: tanks, pumps, valves, piping, cylinders, and controls.
* Provide proper record keeping, documentation, and information for, but not limited to Machine files, repair files.
* Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
* Read and interpret blueprints, technical parts manuals such as electrical and mechanical diagrams, gages, meters, calipers and other measuring tools.
* Use all required hand and power tools including, but not limited to: drill, saw, torch, and jacks, as well as ladders, cranes, forklift, and other maintenance equipment.
This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing during shift.
