What will you do?
Manage the Accounting and Tax matters of Schneider Electric Philippines covering 4 legal entities across Manufacturing, Logistics/Supply Chain, Commercial and Shared Services.
* Accountable for statutory and Group Actual reported books (P&L, Balance Sheet etc) prepared by Accounting Competency Centers (CoCe) and local teams, ensuring compliance with both local and Group requirements
* Set Up and lead the Country Accounting Organization, support by CoCe
* Optimize the set-up and quality of accounting processes and tools/technology enablers, in line with Group guidelines and internal control requirements (including various projects)
* Propose financial technical advice and support for the business needs
* Collaborate within Finance Community to support the overall function goals
* Manage Tax Accounting and filings, in coordination with Tax teams
* Manage the relation with external stakeholders (including auditors)
Qualifications
WHO WILL BE SUCCESFUL?
* Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related
* Certificate: Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
* Years on Job related Experience: At least 10 years professional experience with 3 -5 years' experience in multinational company and external audit.
* Process oriented, experienced in compliance and internal controls, Digital mindset, technical knowledge of IFRS and Philippine accounting and tax regulations
* Audit experience is required; Big 4 experience is a definite advantage
* People management experience - will handle 7 direct reports (Junior and Entity Accountants, Tax Specialist)
* Exposure in cross functional/diverse environment and reporting structure (Interactions: Accounting COCE (India), reporting to Zone level Chief Accounting Officer (Singapore), dotted line to Country CFO (Philippines).
* Strong stakeholder management, collaboration and influencing skills
* Highly motivated and career oriented individual; comfortable with ambiguity and challenges
* Fluent oral and written language in English; Good cross-functional communication skill; Capacity to understand both local and global pictures from statutory perspective
* Must be willing to report to BGC, Taguig and occassionally Cavite.
