Shift Details
Depending on availability, employees will work either 12-hour shifts, or 8-hour shifts, which are detailed below.
12-hour shifts
AM shift 7 AM - 7 PM
PM shift 7 AM - 7 AM
8-hour shifts
Day shift: 6 AM - 2 PM
Evening shift 2 PM - 10 PM
Night Shift: 10 PM - 6 AM
Full time positions will work 36 - 40 hours a week on a set shift and schedule
Part time positions are flexible, allowing you to pick up the shifts you prefer for the days you are available.
Wages
Base wages start at $20-$22 per hour depending on previous experience; an extra $1 wage differential per hour for both day and evening shifts on weekends; an extra $2 wage differential per hour for night shift on every day of the week, including weekends.

Experience
To be considered for hire for the Medication Technician position, you must have previous experience as a Med Tech.
We do not hire on applicants for the Med Tech position with no prior experience specifically as a Med Tech.
We normally start new employees as care givers.
If desired after hire, opportunities to move into a Med Tech position may be considered.
General Purpose
The primary purpose of your job position is to assist in the administering of medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the attending physician, the nurse supervisor or charge nurse, and the Health Services Director.
The administration of medications shall be in accordance with established nursing standards, the policies, procedures, and practices of this facility, and the requirements of this state.
Essential Duties

What You'll Be Doing:
* Provide Direct Therapy: Assist in the implementation of therapy programs as developed by our OTs, helping residents perform activities of daily living and work toward regaining independence.
* Therapeutic Interventions: Implement therapeutic interventions to help residents with motor skills, cognition, and sensory processing.
This may include activities related to dressing, feeding, and mobility.
* Resident Education: Educate residents and their families about strategies for maintaining independence and safety in daily life.
* Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with the Occupational Therapists, physical therapists, and other professionals to deliver cohesive, well-rounded care.
* Documentation & Progress Tracking: Keep accurate records of patient progress, ensuring that our residents' care plans are always up-to-date and aligned with their goals.
What We're Looking For:
* Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Ohio (or eligible to obtain licensure).
* Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing care is helpful, but not required.
* A passion for helping elderly patients regain independence and improve their quality of life.
* Ability to work independently, but also collaborate effectively with a team of healthcare professionals.
* A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a flexible, can-do approach.
