Pipefitter
The Pipefitter will be able to lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial production and processing systems.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
* Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, and pipe threaders and benders.
* Attach pipes to walls, structures, and fixtures, such as radiators or tanks, using brackets, clamps, tools, or welding equipment.
* Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications.
* Select pipe sizes and types and related materials, such as supports, hangers, and hydraulic cylinders, according to specifications.
* Modify, clean, and maintain pipe systems, units, fittings, and related machines and equipment, following specifications and using hand and power tools.
* Turn valves to shut off steam, water, or other gases or liquids from pipe sections, using valve keys or wrenches.
* Remove and replace worn components.
* Inspect work sites for obstructions and to ensure that holes will not cause structural weakness.
* Must be able to perform work wearing personnel protective equipment.
Including but not limited to the following: rain gear, chemical protective clothing, supplied air and air purifying respirators, safety harness, sand blast hoods, fire resistant coveralls, hard hat, ear plugs and safety glasses.

Primary Function:
Manages the full life cycle (proposal-initiation-execution/control-closeout) of design engineering or engineering/construction projects and assumes full responsibility for project profit or loss.
This includes managing all activities related to project scope, schedule, cost, cash flow, quality, communications, resources, procurement, and risk elements required to optimize client service, quality, and fiscal responsibility.
The Project Manager’s overall objective is to build and maintain a positive client relationship, and to achieve or exceed the estimated profit margin for the project.
Primary Duties:
* Participates in project costing and fee preparation to the extent required.
* Reviews assigned project(s) after award to the firm to define project scope, determine work procedures/sequences, and develop schedules, budgets, resource planning, vendor lists, and progress billing points.
* Establishes firm - client liaison network to keep all interested parties informed of project planning, start date, and work progress.
* Works with area leadership and resource teams to develop project work team and sees that responsibilities are assigned, and execution of tasks are completed according to schedule.
* Manages the overall project delivery process for assigned projects to assure that project expectations and objectives relative to schedule, budget and quality are achieved.
* Asist with the development of financial documents and reports such as invoices, project projects and AR reports.
Education and Experience Requirements:
* 4-year degree in Engineering
* Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Louisiana or eligible for reciprocity.
* 6-10 years’ experience in civil engineering and project management.
* Ability to manage dynamic project teams.

This position uses hand tools and operates heavy equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Repair and rebuild railroad track using hydraulic or hand tools
* Remove and replace ties and rails; pull and drive spikes; shovel rock ballast; load and unload equipment and material

Primary Function
