The position can be based in any major market in the Great Lakes region.
The Regional Practice Lead, Bridge is a key leadership role for an established industry leader.
The position will require leadership skills that can be exercised across the Company to collaborate with staff, consultant partners, contractors, and clients to ensure growth in reputation and client engagement, and to capture new business across the full life cycle of bridges.
Key areas of focus will include client and industry engagement, business development, leadership in project capture strategy, regional operational coordination, technical resource planning support, quality control and financial performance of bridge and/or bridge-heavy multidisciplinary projects.

Job Summary
This position is the technical source of modeling information for various projects.
The person that fills this role will need to have a thorough knowledge of construction documents, specification, and shop drawings.
Candidate will create 3D/4D/5D models of any given project.
Key Responsibilities
1.
Creates 3D models of Architectural, Structural and MEP systems.
2.
Maintains model libraries using correct uniformat or masterformat codes.
3.
Participates in activities to support the company's strategic planning efforts.
4.
Performs all primary job responsibilities of Virtual Construction Technician.
5.
Reviews bid scope documents for appropriate BIM language based on project delivery type and BIM deliverables.
6.
Trains virtual construction technicians in use of company approved software.
7.
Virtually walks through the model, identifying elements that are out of place.
Minimum Job Requirements
1.
3+ years blue print/specification reading.
2.
3+ years in Autocad/Revit/Navisworks/CPM scheduling software.
3.
4 year degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture.
4.
4+ years' construction experience.
5.
Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs.

Basic Job Functions:
The Lead Estimator has demonstrated competence in basic estimating functions, as well as an understanding of advanced estimating systems.
Lead estimators are an integral part of the team makeup during the preconstruction phase of a project and often serve (with oversight) as the principal point of contact with the design team and the owner.
Lead estimators may lead hard bid efforts and coordinate estimating teams.
Lead estimators are competent at preparing conceptual estimates for review by senior staff, and have a working knowledge of general conditions and indirect costs.
