Maintenance Secondary Crusher

Montana Resources, LLC is seeking a Secondary Maintenance Technician with a strong mechanical and welding background to join our team.

This position inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains secondary crushing and conveying equipment, pumps, piping, gearboxes, compressors, and hydraulic systems.


* Strong mechanical and welding background


* Have a valid driver's license


* Ability to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions.


* Ability to be self-directed, team-oriented and work with minimum supervision required.


* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

This is primarily a day-shift position, but the candidate must have the ability to work callouts and weekends as needed.



* Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain secondary equipment, including crushers, conveyors, pumps, piping systems, gearboxes, compressors, and hydraulic systems.


* Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities according to schedules.


* Diagnose mechanical failures and determine appropriate corrective actions.


* Install, align, and maintain bearings, shafts, couplings, motors, and drive systems.


* Perform welding, cutting, fabrication, and rigging activities as required.


* Participate in shutdowns, rebuilds, and major maintenance projects.


* Identify and report unsafe conditions, equipment defects, and operational concerns.


* Perform other duties as assigned.
