Environmental Health and Safety Planner

Essential Functions

* Develop and implement environmental and safety programs and policies.


* Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.


* Provide training and education to employees on environmental and safety protocols.


* Investigate accidents, identify their causes and find ways to prevent them in the future.


* Stay current with local, state, and federal environmental and safety regulations.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position.

Days of work are Monday through Friday.

This position will work standard 7:30am-4:00 pm with occasional weekend work as job duties demand.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE


* High school diploma or (GED) and three-years of related experience and training required.

Associate's degree in environmental science, occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field preferred.

Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) preferred.

Must have general knowledge of Microsoft Office.
