Purpose

The Project Procurement Manager leads project procurement activities across Iberia, supporting business growth, margin improvement, cash generation, and successful project execution.

Working closely with Sales, Tendering, Project Management, Engineering, Finance, and Supply Chain teams, the role develops sourcing strategies, manages supplier relationships, mitigates risks, and delivers competitive compliant procurement solutions.

Early engagement throughout the project lifecycle is essential to improve competitiveness, protect margins, and support both Greenfield, Competitive Migration and Installed Base opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement
• Develop and implement project procurement strategies aligned with growth, profitability, cash generation, and project objectives.
• Support tenders and projects through early supplier integration, sourcing strategy development, and risk mitigation.
• Drive cost optimisation, value engineering, supplier innovation, and competitiveness initiatives through the effective use of digital procurement tools, including e-Sourcing and e-Reverse Auctions (e-RA).
• Identify, qualify, develop, and manage strategic suppliers, subcontractors, Cabinet Integrators, and logistics partners across Iberia.
• Support supplier localisation, capacity planning, supplier resilience, and long-term supplier development initiatives.
• Contribute to Solution Business Excellence through effective procurement and supply chain practices.

Project Execution
• Lead supplier selection, qualification, commercial negotiations, contract placement, and purchase commitments.
• Ensure customer requirements are effectively transferred into supplier agreements, including appropriate back-to-back commercial protections.
• Monitor and improve supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, safety, sustainability, capacity, and margin objectives.
