Job Duties and Responsibilities Directs daily ambulatory surgery center operations to guarantee seamless patient flow and high clinical standards.Manages budgeting and financial management, overseeing revenue cycles, cost controls, and resource allocation.Ensures strict adherence to regulatory compliance, maintaining constant readiness for state and federal audits.Maintains facility standards by preparing for and upholding AAHC accreditation and Joint Commission standards.Champions quality improvement initiatives by analyzing clinical outcomes and refining operational workflows.Oversees risk management protocols to protect patients, staff, and the facility from potential hazards.Supervises staff recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing performance development.Provides clear work direction and mentorship to foster a high-performing, collaborative team culture.Optimizes the use of Electronic Health Records (EHR) to secure patient data and streamline clinical documentation.

Required Qualifications Education Holds a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.Prefers a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration.

Experience Brings at least five years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare management.Demonstrates a strong background in ambulatory surgery center operations and surgical service workflows.Shows proven success in managing financial budgets, regulatory compliance, and staff supervision.

Knowledge/Skills Possesses expert knowledge of AAHC accreditation and Joint Commission standards.Applies advanced problem-solving skills in risk management and quality improvement.Utilizes Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems efficiently to support clinical operations.Communicates effectively with physicians, staff, patients, and executive leadership.

Preferred Qualifications Holds a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.Achieves Certified Administrator Surgery Center (CASC) credentials.

Physical Requirements/Work Conditions Works primarily in a standard ambulatory surgery center environment.Stands or walks for extended periods during facility inspections and meetings.Lifts office supplies and equipment weighing up to twenty pounds occasionally.Responds to operational needs that may occasionally require flexible scheduling.
