Visual Merchandising Coordinator

The Team:

Reporting to the Retail Activities Director, the Visual Merchandiser supports the Hermes Brazil network by enhancing the in-store client experience through targeted and strategic display of merchandise collections, while also optimizing sales.

Additionally, the Visual Merchandiser are partners in Merchandising, Retail, Client Experience, and Communications driven activities, lending their expertise to elevate and evolve the brand identity.

The Opportunity:

The Visual Merchandiser position is based in Sao Paolo, within Brazil Flagship Boutique located in Cidad Jardim, with weekly visits to support and execute VM strategy/updates at Iguatemi Boutique as well.

Additionally, monthly travel and visits are also required in Rio de Janeiro to support and execute VM within the Shopping Village Mall boutique.

As the Visual Merchandiser, Brazil, you will be responsible for the quality and consistency of visual merchandising across all 3boutiques; São Paulo (Cidade Jardim, Iguatemi), Rio de Janeiro (Village Mall).

This position requires creative in-store merchandising and an ability to merge commercial and aesthetic concerns through the improvement of in-store appearance; interpreting Group guidelines to enhance the store atmosphere, the client experience, and business goals.

The Visual Merchandiser will be an important business partner to the store management team and will need to demonstrate agility and excellent communication in day-to-day tasks and projects.

About the Role:


* Maintain and elevate visual displays across sales floor.


* Partner with store team, Store Directors, and Merchandising, to address sales challenges and formulate strategies, leveraging visual display to action them.


* Support selling events, windows and animations through VM guidance and implementation.


* Educate store team and métier specialists on products and VM standards and seasonal métier guidelines.


* Aid in the replenishment of items sold from displays.


* Provide regular, qualitative feedback and images to Retail Activity Director and Merchandisers.


* All other duties assigned by Store Director and Retail Activity Director.

About You:


* Minimum 5 years of Visual Merchandising experience.


* Excellent written and spoken English.


* Physical ability to lift heavy items (20 to 40 lbs.), climb ladders/stools, and be an active movement such as bending, kneeling, rouching, reaching, and standing for endured hours.


* A leader with the ability to clearly communicate objectives.


* Ability to interpret guidelines and adapt them in a manner consistent with Group standards.


* High level of attention to detail.


* Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize.


* Strategic agility, able to change direction quickly as needed.
