Java Cloud Developer
In this role, you’ll design, develop, test, implement, and support Java-based applications, integrations, APIs, and services for Lynden’s freight management systems.
This is a hybrid position after training, with 2 days onsite in SeaTac and 3 days remote.
This position is non-safety sensitive and requires ongoing authorization to work in the U.S.
without sponsorship.

What You Will Be Doing:
* Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain Java-based applications, integrations, APIs, and services throughout the software development lifecycle.
* Ensure delivery of high-quality software through clean, maintainable code, unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to established development, security, and change management standards.
* Analyze project requirements, the existing environment, available technology, and develop recommendations for appropriate technology solutions.
* Work closely with customers, business analysts, and other developers to understand business requirements and deliver quality, cost-effective technical solutions that align with business objectives, IT strategy, and architectural standards.
* Participate in application and data architecture discussions and make recommendations regarding new development, system enhancements, technology adoption, and buy-versus-build decisions.
* Provide training and post-installation support for customers, coworkers, and other IT support personnel.
* Manage multiple assignments and projects simultaneously, establishing priorities and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
* Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, performance issues, and production support incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
Tech you’ll work with:
* Java 17+, Spring Boot, microservices, APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure/AKS, GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and logging tools, Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, RabbitMQ and cloud-native applications supporting freight management systems.
