Visiting Research Engineer

Job Description

Assist Dr.

Zanotto's team in research related to Digital Health.

This part time appointment will support the development and maintenance of AI-Sole’s data-processing and web infrastructure, as part of an ongoing NIH-NICHD project on wearable-based digital health.

Responsibilities include finalizing and debugging the existing pipeline for computing spatiotemporal gait parameters; implementing a dashboard to track file-processing progress; assisting with migration of the AI-Sole website from Synology to a dedicated hosting platform; maintaining website content; supporting graduate students with deployment and updates of the clinical dashboard; and preparing technical documentation for these systems and workflows.

Compensation Range
In compliance with the New Jersey Wage Transparency Act, the bi-weekly base range for this position is $1,084.30.

This range represents the University’s good faith estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Stevens Institute of Technology determines compensation based on factors including the position’s scope and responsibilities, the candidate’s experience, education, skills, internal equity, market data, and organizational considerations.

The final salary will be set considering departmental budget, qualifications, and relevant credentials.

This pay range represents base pay only and excludes additional forms of compensation, such as incentives, stipends, or other applicable pay components.
